About the Artist
Michael James is a multidisciplinary creative with 10+ years of experience in UX design and front-end development. His transition into fine art brings a designer's precision and a storyteller's instinct to large-format mixed media painting. His work draws from Afro-Caribbean heritage, urban environments, and personal narrative — organized through the Dat series collections.
Current series include the Cityscape Series, the Rhythm Series, and Saturday Night Soul. Original works are available for private acquisition, licensing, and exhibition by inquiry only.
